Ah, Bollywood, the land of glitz, glamour, and unexpected drama. Just when you thought you knew everything about your favorite films, a shocking incident from the OG Bade Miyan Chote Miyan comes to light.

Before Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff take on the iconic title, let’s take a trip down memory lane and uncover the secrets of the original duo, Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda.

Picture this: two powerhouse actors, Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda, sharing the screen and creating magic. Their chemistry was undeniable, but little did we know that there was a time when Big B issued a warning to Govinda – a threat of a tight slap.

Yes, you read that right. In an old interview, Govinda spilled the beans about this shocking incident. According to Govinda, Amitabh Bachchan approached him and made it clear that if the film failed at the box office, he would not only beat him but also give him a tight slap.

Now, that’s what you call a serious threat. Understandably, Govinda was worried about this open warning from the Brahmastra actor. It seems like the pressure was on for both actors to deliver a hit.

In the midst of this tension, there was a dog shoot scheduled for the film that Govinda wasn’t convinced about. Worried about the consequences of a potential failure, he took matters into his own hands and canceled the shoot.

Surprisingly, Amitabh Bachchan had to ultimately cancel it as well. It seems like even the mighty Big B couldn’t resist the influence of Govinda’s decision. Meanwhile, the film’s director, David Dhawan, found himself in a fix.

He had to convince his actors to shoot the perfect song that would capture the vibe of the film. After much deliberation, they settled on the song “Makhna,” a track that later became a hit and even had the legendary Madhuri Dixit making a cameo appearance.

Sometimes, it takes a little bit of trial and error to find the perfect recipe for success.

Interestingly, Govinda was a huge star at that time, and his popularity even led to a moment of ignorance for Amitabh Bachchan. While shooting for another film, Big B found himself being ignored by the young fans who were more enamored with Govinda.

But being the gracious actor that he is, Amitabh Bachchan took this ignorance with a pinch of salt. After all, even legends have their moments of being overshadowed.

Now, as Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff gear up to take on the iconic roles of Bade Miyan and Chote Miyan, the burning question on everyone’s mind is whether they can bring back the old charm of the film title.

Will they be able to recreate the magic that Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda once shared on screen? Only time will tell.
