In a momentous occasion, President Droupadi Murmu presented the Bharat Ratna, the highest civilian honour in India, to veteran Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani.

The formal ceremony took place at Advani’s residence in Delhi and was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, and the family members of LK Advani.
