In an interview with Telly Chakkar, Sunil Pal shared his thoughts on stand-up comedy these days. He believes that these comedians consider the stage as their temple and it is because of the audience that they earn their livelihood.

However, he finds the content shown these days to be vague and terms it as terrorism. According to him, these comedians are spreading negativity and inflicting mud on our value system.

He also criticizes the youth for accepting such content, stating that they are degrading themselves despite being literate.

Sunil Pal goes on to say that comedians like Munawar Faruqui and Bassi should not be considered comedians at all. He believes that their style is abusive in nature and lacks an understanding of real comedy.

He compares their performances to a drunk watchman of a building, stating that even the watchman would have better jokes than them. Sunil Pal emphasizes that he would never use such abusive words, even if offered Rs. 100 crores.
