Some young men opened fire at a pub in South Delhi on Sunday after the group argued with a manager over seating arrangements, officials said. One person, identified as Ahmed, was arrested by Delhi Police from the scene.
According to the police, a group of young men from Jahangirpuri had come to the Love Bites Cafe in Satya Niketan area to celebrate a birthday party.
The situation escalated when a disagreement over seating arrangements arose between the group and the pub manager. The altercation quickly turned violent, leading one of the young men to open fire inside the pub.
Irked by the argument, Ahmed fired a few rounds in the air from his gun. However, no one was injured. Later, pub authorities made a PCR and the accused was arrested.
Further investigation into the matter is underway.
