Kerala state government is also bringing back the work-from-home system for government and private employees in the state.

Department heads are advised to make arrangements to that effect. Anyone who fails to adhere to the rules will be dealt with seriously, the meeting has decided.

Private tuitions of students have been stopped for now considering the rise in COVID-19 cases. But online classes can of course go ahead. The meeting also noted that relaxations in restrictions would be based on the progress made in the weeks to come.

The famed Thrissur Pooram will hold, but people will not be allowed to take part in the festival as only organizers of the festival will be allowed to go to the venue.
