Jennifer Lawrence is capping off the year with some quality mother-son bonding time! On Tuesday, Dec. 27, the 32-year-old Hunger Games star was photographed makeup-free with her 10-month-old son, Cy, at a Los Angeles park where he got to go down a green slide.

Jennifer shares Cy with her husband, Cooke Maroney, and is very protective of him, so fans are in for a treat. In fact, she is so determined to keep Cy’s life private that she did not reveal his name or gender until seven months after he was born.

In an October cover story interview with Vogue, she revealed that Cy is named after the American painter Cy Twombly, who is Cooke’s favorite artist. She also explained why she avoids talking about parenting. “It’s terrifying to talk about motherhood. “Only because everyone is so different,” the Oscar winner explained.

“If I say, ‘It was amazing from the start’, some people will think, ‘It wasn’t amazing for me at first’, and feel bad. Fortunately, I have so many girlfriends who were honest. Who were like, ‘It’s scary. You might not connect right away. You might not fall in love right away.’ So I felt so prepared to be forgiving,” she continued.

Jennifer has been seen out and about with Cy a few times since he was born, but he is usually wrapped up and hidden from view.

That makes their year-end visit to the playground all the more special: Cy’s face was visible (although HollywoodLife has blurred it out to respect his privacy).

Cy wore colorful polka-dot pants and a beige sherpa jacket with light brown polka-dots for the outing. Jennifer completed his look with black sneakers.

Jennifer, meanwhile, dressed down in black leggings and a black t-shirt with a cream-colored long-sleeve over it. Her brunette hair was thrown up in a messy bun, and she wore layered necklaces.
