Jeremy Renner has returned from India, where he shot for his Disney show “Rennervations” in Alwar, Rajasthan. According to social media videos, the 51-year-old actor was spotted with his bags at the Delhi airport in the early hours of Saturday.
Renner stayed in Alwar during his trip to the country, where he shot “Rennervations,” a four-part non-scripted series from Disney Plus’ streaming service. On Friday, the actor thanked the show’s India crew as well as his fans for making his time in India memorable.
“Thank you to our amazing crew here in India who worked so hard with us to get this job done! Can’t wait to share what we’ve been doing #rennervation #garage #india #delhi” Renner shared a photo of himself on location on Instagram.
The actor, best known for his role as Clint Barton aka Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, also posted a video on his Instagram Stories waving to his fans in Alwar. In the caption, he wrote, “Thank you all!!!”
Renner’s lifelong passion for giving back to communities around the world is continued in “Rennervations,” which reimagines unique purpose-built vehicles to meet a community’s needs. The show will also feature Bollywood star Anil Kapoor, who was recently spotted in Alwar.
On Wednesday, Renner’s fan pages posted videos and photos of him shooting with Kapoor, crew members, and a few children dressed in school uniforms at a government-run senior secondary school in Laxmangarh Fort, Alwar.
In one of the fan posts, Kapoor is seen dancing on a stage to the popular song “Gallan Goodiyaan” from his 2015 film “Dil Dhadakne Do,” and Renner, who was standing in the audience, is enjoying the performance.
Renner and Kapoor both appeared in Tom Cruise’s 2011 film “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol,” though they did not share screen time.
