Now, we can proudly say that Kelly green is one of the hottest colors, right? …even Kate Middleton agrees with that! The Duchess of Cambridge stepped out with her husband, Prince William, for an event where she wore the unmistakable color.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the Generation Earth shot event at London’s Kew Gardens, where they brainstormed with children from The Heathland School about “how we can work together to repair our planet.”
It appears the mother of three chose the green ensemble for the earth-focused event, which included a collared Erdem coat and a matching Zara sweater, as well as black wide-leg belted trousers and Emmy London block heels. She completed her ensemble with a Cartier watch and Patrick Mavros Haka earrings.

This is far from being the first time Kate Middleton rocked the green Erdem coat. It’s become a wardrobe staple for her over the years, first appearing in 2014 during her royal tour of New Zealand. She wore the long coat as a dress at the time, with a black clutch and matching heels.

Just prior to the most recent event, she wore the coat to St. Thomas Hospital in London with Prince William in 2016. She wore it in the same way she did two years ago, with black accessories and seemingly no tights.
Unfortunately, Kate’s beloved Erdem Allie Coat is no longer available, but you might be able to find it secondhand if you search the web diligently. Fortunately for you, kelly green is all the rage right now, so you shouldn’t have any trouble copping a similar look.
Meanwhile, Kate is no stranger to reusing her clothes. She’s given fans countless rewears over the years, including but not limited to her exquisitely tailored blue Catherine Walker coat, chic and pink Mark & Spencer Trousers, and unforgettable Alexander McQueen gown.
