Epic Games has announced that it’s bringing another PlayStation character to Fortnite this week at least that will make a whole lot of difference. Aloy, the protagonist from Horizon Zero Dawn will drop onto the island on April 15th.
An Aloy outfit and other HZD-themed items like an emote, pickaxe, glider, and back bling will also drop on the item shop on the same day. We are also expecting more stuff like an Aloy loading screen, and for those who will wear the outfit while playing Fortnite on PlayStation 5, they’ll get an ice hunter variant of that skin.
A Duos tournament, the cup will put an emphasis on Aloy’s weapon of choice, the bow. While each elimination will earn a competitor two points, those who manage to get an elimination using a bow will be awarded eight bonus points.
Top-performing teams in each server region will receive the Horizon Zero Dawn Bundle before it hits Fortnite’s item shop. However, there is a catch – the Aloy Cup is exclusive to PlayStation consoles.
Aloy is joining Fortnite as part of its Gaming Legends series. Characters from other classic gaming franchises like (Sony’s God of War), (Street Fighter), and (Halo) have all made their way to the battle royale over the last few months.
There is another gaming icon, Lara Croft, that recently arrived in Fortnite alongside the beginning of the Primal season. To mark the arrival of Aloy, Fortnite is pairing up the two adventurers in a limited-time mode.
If you hoping to be a player, then, note that you will automatically wear one of the two character outfits in Team Up! Aloy & Lara Duos, which you can play between 9 AM ET on April 16th and the same time on April 18th.
Aloy will only have a bow and Lara will have to make do with her dual pistols, but the weapons will be upgradable for players and that is surely adding more fun to it all.
Aloy is hitting Fortnite just as Sony is preparing to . Beginning from April 19th, PS4 and PS5 owners will be able to claim their gratis through the Play at Home program.
