Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has on Sunday declared that the three contentious farm laws are ‘death warrants’ for farmers as they would snatch off their lands and reduce them to laborers in their own farm.

Speaking to a Kisan Mahapanchayat that was staged in Meerut by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) against the Centre’s latest laws, Kejriwal said farmers are seriously agitating in the cold because they know that their farms will be taken away from them by capitalists.
Arvind Kejriwal alleged that about three-and-a-half lakh farmers have taken their own lives in the last 25 years while adding that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) cheated the farmers after assuming power.

Kejriwal also highlighted that today, farmers are being tortured all over the country with water cannons being used against them and iron nails are studded on roads to restrict their movement.
