Earlier today, a metropolitan magistrate court granted bail to comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiyaa. Both were booked by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for being in possession of marijuana.
Their lawyer Ayaz Khan revealed the work for the bail was put into motion on Sunday. During an interview with a leading daily, the advocate revealed the reason behind the delay in the verdict. He said, “Neither the officer nor the prosecutor turned before the court for the bail hearing (yesterday). Hence, at 2 pm the court heard us and allowed the bail plea.”

The NCB raided Bharti and Harsh’s Mumbai home under the NDPS act and found 86.5 grams of marijuana. The agency revealed that Bharti admitted to smoking marijuana purchased by her husband.
